We are going to be Alright!
Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
This message encourages us all to know, “We are going to be alright.” The present-day situations and circumstances that we are currently experiencing are temporal, meaning they will change. It’s Sunday today, but it will be Monday tomorrow. We are kingdom citizens and must operate from that standpoint. (If you are not saved, get saved. Romans 10:9)
If we don’t like what we see or are experiencing, we can change it if it needs to change or maintain it if the current situation is favorable and good and God’s will. For instance, if you believed God and put in the work to get out of debt stay out of debt. If you are losing weight, stick to the plan/program. Yes, some things have time stamps on them, but we can override time and how many have heard the phrase “Time is passing so quickly these days.” Every day, there is an opportunity to choose; for example, we can complain or pray. It is a choice. God says to choose life and know He will help us walk the best path every day, no matter what comes our way.
We sometimes don’t understand
Even when we don’t understand, know, and accept the fact that God is with us. For example, when we experience the death of dear people in our lives. Yes, we prayed, fasted, believed they would recover, or it happened so fast. Was it a snatch of the enemy? Did they decide to let go? Or was their assignment on Earth over? Our comfort must come in the fact that death is not the end for those who die in Christ 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and if there is something we need to know, God will reveal it in His own time. Also, we must learn to accept what God allows.
On the Flip Side
On the flip side, you can be so blessed now, in days to come and beyond you that you don’t understand that either. King David in the Bible decided he wanted to build the Lord a house, but God said no to the King in I Chronicles 28:3. But in turn God gives King David the promise regarding the of building of the temple, a lasting dynasty and other promises. Look at this starting in 2 Samuel 7:8-11:
Now then, tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel. We are already alright and blessed with where we came from (our past) and now.
I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. The Lord has been in our lives all the time and protected us from dangers seen and unseen.
Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men on Earth. 10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Provision and a good name are more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning 11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders[a] over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies. We can rest and know that we have the victory in Jesus’ Name!
News flash! “We are already alright”.
