Trouble Don’t Last Always

“These little troubles are getting us ready for an eternal glory that will make all our troubles seem like nothing. Things that are seen don’t last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That’s why we keep our minds on the things that cannot be seen.” 2 Corinthians. 4:17-18 CEV

We do not ever want you to think that there are no challenges and/or no struggles in this Christian life.  We want you to know that as the title of our lesson says “Trouble don’t last always”. 

No one likes life’s challenges but the Bible lets us know trouble is not uncommon.  1 Peter 4:12-13 says, “Beloved do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12-13

Only watch how you view/ process the trouble you face.  Rep. John Lewis said it this way ”Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”

The Apostle James had this to say about trouble “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produce steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 12-3

So decide right now that you are going to get through whatever challenges you are/ will  face.  Knowing you are not alone you have God the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit and ministering angels ready to help  you and you already have the victory.💕
