Take Time to Remember!

Always say, Lord, thank you for allowing me to be a citizen of the United States of America.
Yes, we have many problems, and times are difficult for so many now. Yes, we sometimes have differing views. I remember what an actor said in “An American President. “America isn’t easy. America is advanced citizenship. You’ve gotta want it bad, ’cause it’s gonna put up a fight….” Yet it is one of the best places in the world to live.
Don’t think so; ask one of those people trying to cross the border to gain entry or those who somehow got in illegally and are trying to stay.
God, in his divine wisdom, allows this country to exist, and we have one of the greatest militaries on the planet to support and protect us. And we need them. Ecclesiastes 3:8 says, “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
So, before you fire up the grill or run to the mall for that great Memorial Day sale, kick up your heels because you do not have to go to work. Take time this weekend to remember those who have fallen serving this country and those who are yet doing it today and pray that God protects them and keeps them as they watch and keep us safe.
