Standing for our Healing

How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38 AMP

“Let my whole being bless the Lord and never forget all his good deeds: how God forgives all your sins, heals all your sickness.”  Psalm 103:2-3CEB

I love the song by Israel and New Breed Still Standing. The opening lyrics say, “… If not for Your mercy, if not for Your love, I most likely would have given up. If not for Your favor, I never could say I’m still standing but by the grace of God….” I Have no rights to this song. It lines up with our series on “Standing.” Today we are going to focus on Stand for our Healing.

This spiritual battle has already been won for us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. In Colossians 2:15, God is no respecter of persons regarding healing. Matthew 12:15 says, “But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.”

It does not matter what you are going through in your body or for how long. A day with a headache is too long. Who told you that you must suffer or live with sickness? God did not! We must believe and know it is God’s will for us to be healed.

See, healing is ours for the asking. We cannot allow a spirit of infirmity to operate in our lives, nor can we be ignorant of some of the characteristics of this spirit Satan uses to torment the saints. Bent body, arthritis, oppression, diabetes, asthma, allergies, hay fever, weakness, cancer to name a few. I learned this by studying the Word of God and a book, by Drs Jerry and Carol Roberson.

Binding and Loosing – Too many are dealing with sickness or know someone not in good health. This spirit of infirmity is a work of Satan. God does not have bad health on His list of benefits for us. This spirit has people bound unaware.

Jesus gave us the keys to the kingdom! Do not believe for one moment that you have to suffer from sickness or disease; that is a trick of the enemy. Also, do not fall over into unbelief and fear either, for that will allow the spirit of infirmity to linger in your life. Sometimes our actions cause sickness; other times, they can result from witchcraft, bloodline curses, ill-spoken words, or the like. 

Just remember who is in control. Jesus says in Matthew 28:18, “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 18:18 says. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 

For though we live in the flesh we do not wage war according to the flesh. Satan has been doing this for a long time, and you cannot defeat him without the power of God, the blood of Jesus Christ. Even Michael, the Archangel, said, “The Lord rebuke you.” Bind the spirit of infirmity and loose the spirit of healing on yourself. Decree I will not die, but live, and declare the work of the Lord Psalms 118:17 and mean it! Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. I John 4:4

Get in agreement– Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say unto you, “That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” 

Bind any sickness and disease released against your mind or body and loose divine health/life by the power of God. Go to the doctor when you need to, and if the sickness has gotten a head start, turn up the prayers, your healing confessions; also, watch your mouth only speak life and stand for your healing. 💕
