Navigating this Season
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Psalms 18:1-3
To navigating this season, we have to stop just moving without watching too. What do we mean, by this statement? The whole world is changing all around us and we cannot just keep moving on business as usual. This is dangerous on any front in your life. Family life changes with something as simple as a surgery, a toddler going to kindergarten, retirement or promotion on the job… Even changes in the economy can effect things with us up or down. No matter what stick with God and remember He has us covered. 1 Chronicles 16:11 says “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
There has to be a slowing down to check the spirt and see what the Lord is saying to/about you, your family, and your life, where you live and in the world.
Ask God how to navigate this season. The when, what and where you are. I promise you if you stop right now, it will surprise you what you hear. Trying to solve today problems with yesterday solutions will not work in the natural even your prayers have to be reviewed/upgraded/increased at times. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
This being aware of the time and season we are in will let us know which weapon to use or position to take at any given moment. God’s counsel makes the difference see He knows how to take care of everything that we face each day. For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. Psalms 18:28
Ask the Lord to show you where the enemy is lurking and hiding, when to use your head and not your heart. What weapon to use sometimes it kindness and not a sword, maybe it is receiving that it is the end of a season or situation and not giving it more time… Let us stick really close to the Holy Spirit in this season He knows everything He is the comforter, guide us into all truth, our helper…
Father God in the name of Jesus we yield ourselves to you in this season and every season of our lives.
