How We Help

Outreach

International Outreach:  Tribal Evangelism, taking the Word of God to the lost, poor and forgotten.

National Outreach:  Prison Ministry

Supporting the incarcerated.  A Word in Season Ministry (AWNS) started to field prayer requests from persons with loved ones in prison, and these constant support requests birthed our prison outreach two years ago.   To add someone to the AWNS Prison Ministry outreach list, complete the form under our “Contact Us” section of the site and include the person’s information in the message section of the form.

Local Outreach:  Children’s Ministry

The desire to help our fellowman has no barriers!  During the COVID 19 pandemic for our local children’s ministry we continued to stay connected and get the word out that “Jesus is Lord” via teaching videos, zoom sessions, literature, text messages and personal phone calls. We were also able to touch the physical needs as well by providing food, school supplies and family fun activities. For example, gift cards for carryout from a nationally recognized pizzeria were mailed or delivered via the volunteer team leaders to the families of our children’s ministry participants. “Where there’s a will there’s a way”.
