Grab Some Joy Now!

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psalm 16:9

We have entered the month of November 2023, and the holidays are upon us. I wanted to reach out and say grab some more joy now. Knowing that the Joy of the Lord is your strength is a building block of your faith and will keep you going in times of adversity and uncertainty.

Joy is the adrenalin that says pursue and recover; all things are possible, and nothing is impossible. It also reminds us that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is always with us. Joy is, by its definition, a feeling of great pleasure and happiness and is also one of the Fruit of the Spirit.

Many people are challenged this time of year for various reasons. But if we have a relationship with God, this Joy from God will provide contentment in whatever place or situation we find ourselves. Look at these verses, meditate on them, and watch your Joy level increase.

  • Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all Joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
  • Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Proverbs 17:22 – A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
  • ·Zephaniah 3:17 – The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with Joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
  • Psalms 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

There was a book I read years ago entitled “If Satan Can’t Steal Your Joy, he Can’t Keep Your Goods.” We are victorious, not victims. Hold on to your Joy; grab some more if you need to. God has plenty to go around and make this the best year and holiday season ever. Live each day to the fullest, remembering! “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24💕
