Weekly Devotion:

Dream On…

And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed. Genesis 37:5-6

Put your name in the place of the statement “And ___________ dreamed a dream”.

Think on that thing that kept/keeps you up night after night or has/had you going to school, volunteering, working and sacrificing for it. On the other hand, more importantly the thing that God showed you that you would do or have.

Acts 2:17 says ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

Dreams include us and are for others. Joseph’s dream saved a posterity (all future generations of people).

What’s your dream? It may be that you would one day own your own home, a business, a ministry or a program to help the poor and elderly, or a product that solves a problem in the world… Whatever it is it is attainable.  Just as God spoke to you in the form of a dream, you speak it out.  Remember what Romans 4:16-22 says … and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

I hear someone saying well I am 12, 60, 39…years old and every time I try to work on that dream it seem like I keep/kept being stuck. Those are the dream thieves working they will always be around look at all Joseph went through with family, employer, in prison before that dream came to pass and he was around 17 when he had the dream.

Some dreams happen quicker than others do and yet they all require your participation. In addition, the full impact of your dream may not be experienced in your lifetime. Your children’s children might walk in the fullness of it.

Get away this week and work on, dust off that dream(s) saturate it in prayer. Document/review it bounce it off the wall and see what you come up with.  We are living in a time of accelerated manifestation it doesn’t take long for anything to happen why not your dream.💕
