Brand New Day!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23). 

Never miss an opportunity to start fresh. A new day, a new month in a new year. Let’s stop waking up saying it Sunday, Monday… No, it is a new day that we have never seen. Let’s treat it that way. 

Father, in the name of Jesus, step in this new day with us, wipe our eyes so we can see things as you see them, not in fear but joy, but calling those things that be not as though they were, operating in the authority of the believer. Fortify our hearts to receive your best for this brand-new day or month in this different year.  

Lord, I’m asking you to give us all a big push today, we are in the eighth month, and the number eight means new beginnings. Get us out of our comfort zone. God help us to be better than we are, God help us to worship you in a brand-new way, God help us to love you in a brand-new way.

Father in Jesus’s name, we take authority of our families. We are the head and not the tail, above only. We are the healed of the Lord. We have no lack, only your abundance. Our children are taught of the Lord, and great is their peace. We demand the devil to get out of our affairs. Lord, you said you would rebuke the devourer for our sake. We thank you that he is rebuked. 

Lord, please check our hearts and try our thoughts. Show us if we have missed it in any way and need to repent. Jerk the slack out of us, and renew our minds to a higher level—the place where your presence is God. God, you said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to us.”

Lord Jesus, what is the Word for us, individually and collectively, in this season? Fine-tune our discernment so that we are not deceived at any time. Start a new Holy Spirit lead bible study class with us. Where we listen for you, God, to you, and do what you tell us to do. Holy Spirit, thank you for rightly dividing the Word of God to us as we study and attend service; we know the Word of God works. Lord, we will follow your lead to victory in our lives. It’s a brand-new day, and we desire to walk in it with You!
