Game Over!

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

Ever prayed a prayer that sounded right, but you felt/knew it just hit the ceiling and did not go through? Or you know the prayer you prayed went through but wonder where the answer is?

Sometimes doubt is the reason. The boy’s father in Mark chapter nine was desperate; he knew Jesus could help him. In Mark 9:23 -24, “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” One pastor said, “Doubt Your Doubts” When the devil throws doubt in your mind, you doubt what he is saying, knowing that all things are possible to them that believe. Release your faith and hold on. Faith works.

Sometimes that prayer was spot on, but the enemy blocked the answer, and the answer is fighting to get to you. Check out what Daniel 10:12 says, “Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.” Daniel’s answer got held up by demonic activity, and reinforcement had to be called for to get his answer through. Do not be deceived that still happens today.

Sometimes our posture in prayer is off. We have got to stand; it took 21 days for the answer to get through. During that time, Daniel fasted and stayed prayerful. James 5:16 says, “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (KJV). Prayer is a lifestyle, that will not change. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 Passion Translation

The prayer must line up with the will of God. Jesus said when facing the cross, “Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Thine be done.” Luke 22:42 Or 1 John 5:14 NIV This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

Then there are the prayers that pierce the darkness, and you breakdown walls by pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over the situation, release your angels, bind all demonic activity, spirits of collusion (that is where people who may or may not like each other, but they will get together to fight and pray against you). Read Psalms 35

Oh, but when you know that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, your heart is clear, and you have no open doors in the spirit realm for the devil to exploit; that is when you can pray and know Game Over! 💕
