God Bless America!

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Psalm 9:17

Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Jeremiah 29:7

 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

 2 Chronicles 7:14

Happy Independence Day!  Tomorrow this country The United States of America (USA) will be 246 years old. Our country is not perfect but it is the best country to be born and live in in the world. 

As the Folklore singer, Woody Guthrie sang. “This land is your land this land is my land from California to the New York Island … “America belongs to every citizen. 

Therefore, as you celebrate with family, friends… enjoying all your summertime favorite foods and actives take a moment to pray for this land of ours. 

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus we bless you, we glorify you, we magnify your name. We come today Father God saying thank you and praying for our country.  Draw this country back and closer to you.  We come to you as the Prophet Daniel did in Daniel chapter nine asking you to forgive us for all our sins “O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers… Daniel 9:16 

We pray for families today, for children and especially for the elderly. We ask you to bless us and keep us safe from all hurt, harm and danger. Psalms 91.  We thank you that all our needs are met according to your riches in glory.  Philippians 4:19

Bless those in authority Father God from the White House to the local grocery store supervisor… Help them to walk and operate in integrity and wisdom 1 Timothy 2:1-2.  Let no weapon formed against this country prosper. 

Lord help us all to love our neighbors as ourselves and not to take for granted how you have blessed this nation in Jesus name we pray amen. Matthew 22:36-40
